The Tigers faced Novinger in the first round of the Class 1 District 12 tournament Saturday. Brashear jumped out to a 17-10 lead after one quarter and were up 23-22 at halftime. Novinger came out hot in the 3rd quarter to pull ahead 36-32. Brashear retook the lead in the 4th but couldn't hold on as Novinger advanded with a 47-44 win.
